إعلان برقة اليوم للنظام الفيدرالي و رفض الإعلان الدستوري هو أمر مخالف للقوانين وأهداف الثورة التي قامت لإنشاء دولة قانون و مؤسسات. هذا الإعلان لا يمثل إلا الفئة التي شاركت مهما كان عددها، إعلان الفيدرالية لا يتم دون.استفتاء شعبي. الليبيون حاربوا ضد النظام البائد لكي تكون له كلمة.

نعم، هناك مشاكل يعانى منها أهلنا في الشرق من مركزية مقيتة، ومشاكل اقتصادية. ولكن النظام السابق كان أساس الفقر والمشاكل، التي تساوت في كل المدن الليبية. وبالتأكيد، هذا لا يغفر للحكومة الانتقالية الذي لم يتخذ إجراءات حاسمة تتماشى معدقة المرحلة.

الحل هو في اللامركزية وفتح مكاتب للحكومة في كل المدن الليبية، شرقا وغربا وشمالا وجنوبا، والمساواة في تقديم الخدمات الصحية والتعليمية في كل المناطق بدون جهوية ولا قبلية. فيشعر كل مواطن ليبي بالانتماء للوطن، و لا يشعر أن هناك فرقا بين شرقاوي و غرباوي او عربي و أمازيغي؛ كما كان يفعل النظام البائد.

نحن، أعضاء منتدى الشباب الليبي، نعلن اعتراضنا على تنفيذ هذا النظام، الذي لم يؤسس رسميا من قبل أي مؤسسة ديمقراطية في ليبيا.
 

Cyrenaica’s (Eastern Libya) declaration to adopt the federal system is contrary to the objectives of the revolution. This declaration is not representative of the Libyan people who fought in the revolution in order to have a voice. The decision to adopt federalism in Cyrenaica was made without their consultation and before they were able to express their opinion on the matter.

It is true that the centralization of government under the Gaddafi regime resulted in grim economic prospects and poverty in Eastern Libya. However, these conditions were not by any means specific to this one region; all of Libya suffered under the hands of Gaddafi. The current interim government has yet to take any decisive action in response to what is happening.

The solution lies in the decentralization of government and the opening of governmental offices across Libya, and the provision of high quality health and education services in all areas. This is to ensure that every citizen feels that he/she is a Libyan and that there is no difference between East and West, Arab and Amazigh as was previously felt under the Gaddafi regime.

We, the members of the Libyan Youth Forum, declare that we are against the implementation of such a system which is not derived from any official democratic establishment in Libya.
